The Lebanese Communist Party (LCP) condemns the US administration decision putting Cuba back on “state sponsors of terrorism” list. This act is considered an offensive and provocative move undertaken by Trump administration just few days before leaving office into the dustbin of history.
The popular uprising of October 17, 2019 has created a new political scene in Lebanon. Hundreds of thousands of Lebanese, from all corners of the country and all affiliations, flocked to the streets to demand a radical change of the confessional and rentier capitalist regime that has impoverished the people and led them to choose between emigration and unemployment.
